The story of our founding
Metal Exteriors is a manufacturer of quality roll-formed metal roofing & siding. Metal Exteriors was founded in June 2013 by brothers, Carl and James Zimmerman in Shiloh, Ohio. Carl had been working in the industry for 10 years before he and James started the business. Our family-owned and operated business is still committed to manufacturing quality products and offering exceptional service to the contractors and homeowners we serve.
In the years since, we’ve built a strong reputation around our premium steel roofing and siding solutions. Our focus is on reaching high standards of customer service, investing in manufacturing equipment to deliver strong product, and innovative product development to earn our customers trust.
We roll form from a variety of 9 metal panels including Parallel Rib, Elite Rib, Standing Seam, R Panel siding, PBR Panel roofing, Reveal Plank siding, Metal Axis siding, and Metal Batten siding. All these panels are produced in a variety of prints, textures, and colors.
And speaking of options, we constantly seek to give you an abundance of choices. In addition to roll-formed metal panels, Metal Exteriors manufactures and stocks over 30 trim profiles in dozens of colors. We also specialize in bending custom trims. Our employees in the trim shop take pride in their abilities to produce specially designed and formed products requested by the customer.
